Mark Speight (August 6, 1965 – April 13, 2008) was a British television presenter, best known for hosting the children's art programme SMart on CBBC. He presented the show from 1994 until its cancellation in 2009, although he was suspended in 2008.

Prior to SMart, he worked on other children's programmes and pursued a career as a stand-up comedian. He was highly regarded for his enthusiastic and engaging presenting style, making art accessible and fun for children.

In January 2008, Speight was arrested and questioned in connection with the death of his fiancée, Natasha Collins, who was found dead in their shared flat. He was initially arrested on suspicion of murder and supplying Class A drugs, but was later released without charge in relation to her death, although he admitted to possessing cocaine.

Following Collins' death and the subsequent media attention, Speight struggled with depression. He disappeared in April 2008 and was found dead six days later in a building near Paddington Station. A coroner ruled his death as suicide by hanging. The circumstances surrounding his death and the events leading up to it remain a subject of public interest and debate.
